| Note: This photo was taken from an
F-86F under restoration at a museum. Pulling up on the yellow handle
locks the pilot's harness, then squeezing the yellow lever right
underneath the yellow handle ejects the seat (and pilot) from the plane.
Note also the foot rests in front of the seat where the pilot puts his
feet before ejecting. |
