| Note: It wasn't
long after this photo was taken that these men began preparing for the
F-86F Sabre to arrive at K-13. According to them, the F-86 was an easier
aircraft to maintain than the F-80C, which had been a faithful workhorse
for the 8th FBG since the war began.
